All services are provided by Dr. Tess Peters of Empowered by Birth. Pelvic floor evaluations take place at Refuge Wellness Collective in Rock Island.

PRENATAL PELVIC FLOOR EVALUATION (1HR)
This comprehensive session includes a head-to-toe assessment of mobility, flexibility, strength, and stability. The evaluation also includes screening for diastasis recti and, if desired, an optional internal pelvic floor assessment. Findings are used to guide strategies for optimizing intra-abdominal pressure to support safe, efficient movement throughout pregnancy, as well as to provide education and tools that can be applied during labor and delivery.

PRENATAL PELVIC FLOOR BIRTH PREP CLASSES (MONTHLY)
Classes are held at Motherhood Matters in Davenport, Iowa

This prenatal birth prep class focuses on building pelvic floor strength and endurance to support the changing pregnant body, reducing discomfort, and improving mobility. Classes incorporate functional exercises, pelvic floor relaxation, and targeted breathing techniques to prepare the body for labor and delivery—supporting confidence, efficiency, and an optimal birth experience.

POSTPARTUM PELVIC FLOOR EVALUATION (1HR)
This comprehensive session includes a head-to-toe assessment of mobility, flexibility, strength, and stability following childbirth. The evaluation includes screening for diastasis recti, core function, pelvic floor recovery, and, if desired, an optional internal pelvic floor assessment. Findings are used to develop an individualized treatment plan to support healing, improve pelvic floor and core function, address pain or symptoms such as leaking or pelvic pressure, and help you safely return to daily activities and exercise with confidence.
