Doula Services Breakdown

These visits are designed to build trust, educate families, and prepare them for birth and postpartum. The first visit, led by one doula, focuses on intake, expectations, prenatal anatomy, and functional movement. The second visit, led by the other doula, centers on partner support and development of the birth plan. The final visit is attended by both doulas and reviews last-minute changes, timing and decision-making around labor, and comprehensive postpartum planning.

PRENATALS

We’ll be by your side as soon as you need support during labor and delivery, offering continuous care tailored to your needs. Offering hands-on comfort measures, calming techniques, and steady encouragement. Whether supporting you directly or working alongside your partner, our goal is to help you feel informed, empowered, and supported. After birth, we remain with you to assist with immediate recovery, initiate breastfeeding, and ensure you and your baby are settling in comfortably.

BIRTH ATTENDANCE

Our 1-hour in-home postpartum visit offers personalized support as you adjust to life with your newborn. We’ll check in on your recovery, answer questions, offer feeding and newborn care guidance, and help you process your birth if needed—all with the goal of making sure you feel supported, confident, and cared for in the early days.

POSTPARTUM VISIT

Lactation Services
Breakdown

3 Hours - Tuesday Evenings Monthly 5-8PM

This comprehensive, partner-inclusive 3-hour class prepares you for a successful feeding journey by covering breastfeeding fundamentals—latch, positioning, feeding cues, milk supply, and postpartum expectations—alongside full pumping education, including pump operation, flange fitting, schedules, supply maintenance, hand expression, and colostrum harvesting. You’ll also learn bottle-feeding readiness, the best timing for introduction, milk storage and freezer- stash tips, and practical pumping logistics to help you feel confident and supported from the start.

BABYFEEDING CLASS

This includes a review of health and birth history, assessment of mom and baby’s anatomy, observation of a feeding, and guidance on latch, positioning, and pain. You’ll receive personalized recommendations and a comprehensive care plan to support your breastfeeding journey. (Must be located in the QCA or travel charges may be applied)

IN HOME LACTATION APPOINTMENT (1HR)

This follow-up visit includes a weighted feed to check in on milk transfer and assess progress in intake and weight gain since the initial visit. We will observe a feeding, evaluate latch, positioning, comfort, and milk transfer, and provide updated, personalized recommendations to continue supporting your breastfeeding journey.

PRENATAL PELVIC FLOOR EVALUATION (1HR)

This comprehensive session includes a head-to-toe assessment of mobility, flexibility, strength, and stability. The evaluation also includes screening for diastasis recti and, if desired, an optional internal pelvic floor assessment. Findings are used to guide strategies for optimizing intra-abdominal pressure to support safe, efficient movement throughout pregnancy, as well as to provide education and tools that can be applied during labor and delivery.

This monthly prenatal birth prep class focuses on building pelvic floor strength and endurance to support the changing pregnant body, reducing discomfort, and improving mobility. Classes incorporate functional exercises, pelvic floor relaxation, and targeted breathing techniques to prepare the body for labor and delivery—supporting confidence, efficiency, and an optimal birth experience.

PRENATAL PELVIC FLOOR BIRTH PREP CLASSES

This visit focuses on early postpartum recovery and rehabilitation following childbirth. Dr. Tess will guide you in reconnecting with your core and pelvic floor through targeted breath work, restoring mobility and postural stability, and learning safe, progressive exercises to rebuild foundational strength. The goal is to prevent or address common postpartum concerns such as incontinence, pelvic pain or heaviness, and back pain—supporting a confident and resilient return to movement.

POSTPARTUM RECOVER SESSION (1HR)
