McKenzie has supported families through pregnancy, birth, loss, and early parenting for over seven years. As a certified birth and bereavement doula and lactation counselor, she offers a compassionate, steady presence tailored to each family’s unique journey—from labor preparation to feeding challenges and beyond.

She is the founder of QC Doula Connect, a team-based doula collective designed to provide families with consistent, wraparound care through matched pairs of co-doulas. McKenzie’s vision centers on creating a community of care that feels like family—connected, collaborative, and built on trust—while fostering sustainability and joy for doulas.

Through her lactation practice, Gingerly Mama LLC, she delivers personalized, evidence-based support combined with ongoing follow-up, ensuring families have the space and guidance to grow confidently. Whether providing prenatal education, labor support, or postpartum care, McKenzie prioritizes the needs and values of each family with empowering, relationship-based care. When not working, she enjoys time with her three daughters, morning coffee on the porch, and dreaming up new ways to expand support for families in the Quad Cities and beyond.
